De Traxxas Pro Series Magnum 272R gearbox is speciaal ontwikkeld voor de Drag Slash. Een nieuw ontwerp, 3,2 mm motorplaat en gehard stalen bovenas zijn nog maar het begin. De Pro Series Magnum 272R vertegenwoordigt een compleet nieuw ontwerp en is tevens geschiktvoor jouw Bandit, Rustler, Stampede of Slash (uitsluitend de 2WD modellen). De transmissie is ontworpen voor grote krachten. Het bevat een robuuste & versterkte behuizing. De twee helften passen precies in elkaar om vuil buiten te houden. Een stijve constructie is gecreëerd om de motor, ophangarmen en optionele wheelie bar te ondersteunen. De dikke T-6 aluminium motorplaat is bestand tegen flex en fungeert direct als koellichaam. Bevat metalen tandwielen Deze raceklare transmissie is gebouwd voor een enorm koppel. De tandwielen zijn gemaakt van staal en er zijn extra grote lagers gebruikt. Het invoertandwiel is voorzien van een spie en een perspassing op de bovenas. Dit zorgt voor meer precisie en is sterker dan een op een pen gemonteerd tandwiel. Afgedicht differentieel met schuine vertanding Het heavy-duty differentieel met stalen tandwielen is afgedicht door middel van een pakking en gevuld met vet voor allround prestaties. Het is gemakkelijk om de vergrendelingsactie van het differentieel af te stemmen door siliconenolie met verschillende viscositeit toe te voegen. Verwijderbaar differentieel Het gemakkelijk verwijderbare differentieel van de Magnum 272R maakt onderhoud en tuning eenvoudiger dan ooit. Koppel de aandrijfassen los en open het luik om het differentieel in slechts enkele minuten uit te nemen.
