True terror lies in the eyes of a cat...Agitated author Wilbur Gray (Peter Crushing - Dracula, The revenge of Frankenstein, Star Wars), tries to convince his sceptical publisher Frank Richards (Ray Milland - The Lost Weekend) that his book of macabre cat stories must be published. Gray believes that the book provides unmistakable evidence that cats are absolute evil and he tries to prove his argument with three stories from his book, all the while being watched keenly by Richards' Persian cat...The Uncanny is a blood-curdling collection of horror short stories produced by Milton Subotsky, the producer of The House that Dripped Blood, Tales from the Crypt and Asylum, with cinematography from Harry Waxman (The Wicker Man, Brighton Rock).
